  • 2013 U-20 Mexico Women’s National Team

AS A SENIOR:

  • Appeared in 12 games for the Irish
  • Recorded five shots total, including one shot on goal
  • Tallied two assists, the first coming on Karin Muya’s goal against Western Michigan in a 3-0 victory (Aug. 29)

AS A JUNIOR:

  • Appeared in one game for the Irish, clocking 28 minutes against Oakland as the Irish defeated the Golden Grizzlies 5-0 in the first round of the NCAA Championship (11/13/15)

AS A SOPHOMORE:

  • Played in two games in 2014 against Oakland and USC
  • Averaged 1.50 shots per game

AS A FRESHMAN:

  • Appeared in 17 matches as a reserve midfielder
  • Scored one goal and took four shots (three on goal)
  • Found back of net in second career match against hometown school Northwestern (4-1), capping ND’s three-goal first half with goal in 25th minute
  • Played season-high 48 minutes against #21 Maryland (5-0).

NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Joined Mexican U-20 Women’s National Team roster for 2013-14 cycles
  • Competed at 2014 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Cayman Islands, helping Mexico to runner-up finish and spot in FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup
  • Appeared in two matches (starting once), and scored goal in Mexico’s 10-1 group-stage win over Honduras
  • Suited up for Mexico at 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan
  • Started all three matches for Mexico at U-17 WWC, earning corner-kick assist on country’s lone goal in competition (1-0 win over New Zealand)
  • Participated with Mexico at 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Championship in Guatemala, helping team to third-place finish and qualification for U-17 WWC (appeared in all five matches, starting four times and scoring goal in group-stage win over Bahamas)
  • One of five Notre Dame women’s soccer players in school history to have experience with Mexico National Team program (either before or after tenure with Fighting Irish), joining a group that includes Monica Gerardo, Monica Gonzalez, Rebecca Mendoza and Monica Flores (’18)
  • Previously part of U.S. Soccer U-14 and U-15 Girls National Team player pools in 2009 and 2010, respectively

  • Played for Sockers FC Chicago club program that also produced Katie Naughton

  • Won 2010 Disney Showcase and 2011 MRL Premier Division titles with Chicago Fire Juniors

  • Best prep season came in 2010-11 when she piled up team-highs of 21 goals and 11 assists

  • Earned all-sectional and East Aurora All-Tournament team honors as sophomore in 2010-11
  • Excellent student who maintained better than 5.0 grade-point average (adjusted) throughout high school
  • Earned high honor roll status all four years of high school
  • Member of French club and National French Honors Society
  • Chosen as Illinois State Scholar for 2013-14 by Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC)
  • Daughter of Gloria and Victor Pineda
  • Older brother, Victor, was the first homegrown player for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of its youngest (as well as teammate of 2014 Notre Dame graduate Harrison Shipp, who led Fighting Irish to their first NCAA national championship in 2013); as of 2017 he was playing with Orange County SC of the United Soccer League.
  • Younger brother, Mauricio, plays the University of North Carolina
  • Graduated with a degree in information technology management from the Mendoza College of Business
