HIGH SCHOOL:

  • Letterwinner in softball (4), basketball (4) and soccer (3) at Singapore American School.
  • All-tournament team award as a shortstop in slow-pitch softball during senior season, clocking six home runs.
  • All-tournament team recipient in basketball as a senior small forward.
  • Goalkeeper for gold medal winning soccer team that did not concede a goal during tournament for the first time in program history.
  • Earned additional gold medal performances in basketball (freshman and junior seasons) and softball (sophomore season).
  • Received the Burdell-Wood Scholar-Athlete Award, given to the graduating student with the most exemplary academic and athletic career.
  • Vice president of the Japanese National Honor Society, and was also a member of the Science National Honor Society. 
  • Has volunteered with the Growing A Future Organization (GAFO), receiving the GAFO Distinguished Service Award.

PERSONAL:

  • Daughter of Henry Schindele and Miwako Murayama.
  • Has one brother, Alex, who plays men’s volleyball at Princeton University.
  • Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business.
