AS A SENIOR: Rowed with the first and second novice eights and third varsity eight during senior season … first novice eight earned a pair of runner-up finishes to open the spring at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … crew added second place results against No. 1 Ohio State (7:05.69) and No. RV Michigan State (7:04.51) at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual … switched to the second novice eight and claimed a race victory in 7:21.40 on the opening night of the Dale England Cup … finished fourth in the third varsity eight grand final (6:51.90) at the 2015 ACC Championship.

AS A JUNIOR: Made her season debut with the second varsity four boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, claiming a pair of second place finishes at the regatta … raced with the open eight boat at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge … picked up her first win of the season at the Dale England Cup as part of the novice eight/third varsity eight boat, beating Alabama with a time of 6:57.50 … finished first with the novice eight during the Saturday afternoon session, defeating Rhode Island with a time of 6:50.30.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Rowed with multiple Irish crews throughout the season … at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, started out in the third varsity four boat, placing second behind Kansas in 8:09.60 before crossing the finish line in second place (8:12.18) against Virginia and the Notre Dame B-team … in the third race hopped into the second varsity eight B-crew and finished fourth in 7:21.61 … raced with the fourth varsity four boat at Michigan State and came in second to Michigan in both races, first with a time of 8:41.80 and next with an 8:47.06 mark … stroked with the second novice eight boat at the Ohio State Invitational … in first race, finished second ahead of the Buckeye boat, but fell behind eventual NCAA champions and Michigan to cross in third during the second race of the day … raced with the B-team of the first novice eight crew at the fifth annual Dale England Cup … came in third place in all three races.

AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed multiple boats for the Irish this season … helped the Irish third varsity eight boat beat Alabama and Buffalo at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite (7:03.30) … also placed second against Kansas (7:00.17) … competed in the BIG EAST Invite, winning the first race over Iowa (7:30.10) before helping the third varsity eight “B” boat to a third place finish with a time of 7:30.70 … won her final race of the season in the BIG EAST Championship over Connecticut and Louisville in the third varsity eight, posting a time of 7:44.478 in the win.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Swam for her high school team while at St. Thomas Episcopal, lettering all four years … was team captain her sophomore, junior, and senior year … named an Academic All-American in swimming her senior year … had first place finishes at state in the 500 freestyle, 4×100 freestyle relay, and medley relay during senior year, as well as a second place finish in the 200 freestyle … helped lead her swim team to back-to-back state titles her junior and senior year … also ran cross country and track in high school, lettering all four years … voted team MVP for the cross country team her sophomore year … contributed to the team’s state championship win her senior year … also played soccer all four years at her high school, lettering all four years and being named team captain … was a National Merit Finalist … born in Houston, Texas … daughter of Steve and Peggy McGough … mother played volleyball at Dana College … had an uncle, Mark McGough, and cousin, Sarah McGough, graduate from Notre Dame … has one sibling-Kelley … graduated with a degree in pre-professional studies from the College of Science.
