AS A JUNIOR: Was the coxswain for select eight and four crews during the spring … coxswain for the varsity eight boat[apos]s second-place finish at the Lubbers Cup (8:07.56) … made spring debut in second race against Tennessee and Minnesota, coxing the second varsity four boat … coxswain for the varsity eight ‘C’ boat at the Head of the Rock, leading boat to an 11th place finish out of 24 entries.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Coxswain for the varsity four boats during the spring … served as coxswain in the Notre Dame ‘B’ boat that captured second at Lubbers Cup in 8:41.30 … was the coxswain for the first open four boat at the Central/South Region Championship that finished fifth in the Grand Finals with a time of 7:53.93 … coxed the piece one crew to an eighth-place finish at the opening-season with a time of 10:08.00 … competed in the varsity four at the Notre Dame Invitational and finished fifth clocking in at 16:54.8 … coxswain for the open four-a team that finished in a time of 17:22.31, good enough for 10th-place at the Head of the Elk.

AS A FRESHMAN: Coxed the novice eight in 2004-2005 … capped the season finishing seventh at the Central/South Region Sprints … second place finish at the BIG EAST Championships … victorious over Yale (6:50.8) … defeated Cincinnati … first place versus Purdue and Louisville and over Indiana and Purdue … led crew to a victory in the Women[apos]s Collegiate Petite Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Five-sport athlete at Kwajalein High School … earned varsity letters in water polo, soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball her senior season … was a starter in each sport … soccer team MVP her junior season as she led the team to a regional title … two-time team captain in soccer … was also a captain for her softball and volleyball teams … named volleyball team MVP twice … father, Sanito, ran cross country at the University of Hawaii … member of the National Honor Society … class vice president four years … one of Joanne and Sanito Padayhag[apos]s two children … enrolled in the College of Science.
