AS A FRESHMAN: Served as the coxswain of the second novice eight boat to open the spring season…helped guide her team across the finish line in 8:46.90 against Michigan State in the opening race of the spring docket, earning a second-place result…coxed the same boat the following day against Indiana and Purdue and helped the boat earn a runner-up standing with a final race time of 6:35.90…was the coxswain for the Notre Dame ‘E’ boat in the varsity eight race at the Head of the Rock, helping guide the crew to a final time of 21:02.30…later coxed the Notre Dame ‘B’ boat in the novice eight at the Head of the Rock, grabbing a fifth-place finish in a time of 19:29.50…coxed the Notre Dame ‘B’ boat in the novice eight competition at the Southland Regatta where she helped her team earn a 15th place finish, stopping the clock at 20:43.47.

PREP AND PERSONAL: A four-sport athlete at Carmel High School, competing in cross country, swimming, track and golf…helped lead a dominant swim team to three consecutive undefeated seasons on the way to winning conference, regional and state championships in her sophomore through senior years…was a member of both the National Honor Society and student government…born in Memphis, Tenn. on October 29, 1989…daughter of William and Carmen Carson…has three older siblings…father, William, along with brother, Ellis, and sister, Courtney, attended Notre Dame…currently enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
