AS A SOPHOMORE: Earned first monogram … played in 10 tournaments for the Irish (26 rounds) … had 21 of his 26 rounds count towards the team total … recorded a 75.23 stroke average … made his season debut at the Mason Rudolph Championship, where he tied for 30th, shooting a one-over par 143 (70-73) … helped Notre Dame to a fifth-place team finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship … recorded an eagle on day one of the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic and ended up tying for 24th in the tournament at 12-over par 222 (74-72-76) … highlighted his spring campaign with a 19th-place showing at the Bandon Dunes Championship with a 23-over par 165 (86-79) … both his rounds at the Bandon Dunes Championship counted towards the team score as he helped the Irish record the team victory … competed in the 2010 BIG EAST Championship for the first time in his career, tying for 23rd with a nine-over par 222 total (79-70-73).

SUMMER 2008: Missed cut by one shot at American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Rolex Tournament of Champions in Newburgh, Ind. (Victoria National GC) with 12-over par 156 (76-80) … bounced back extremely well with runner-up finish at AJGA[apos]s HP Boys Junior Championship in Orlando, Fla. (Arnold Palmer[apos]s Bay Hill Club & Lodge) with three-under 285 (72-68-73-72), winding up one shot back after holding 36- and 54-hole leads … finished three shots shy of qualifying for Western Amateur, carding five-over par 75 to tie for 29th place at Notre Dame[apos]s Warren Golf Course.
