HIGH SCHOOL: Led Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida to 22-7 record in his senior season … served as team captain in his senior season … played first two seasons at Tampa Jesuit and then junior year at Ruston High School in Louisiana … returned to Tampa Jesuit for his senior year … member of Jesuit High School squad that captured 2013 Florida 5A state championship and finished with a 31-1 record … squad is considered one of the best teams in Tampa Bay history … won 30 of 32 games by 10 or more points and finished undefeated against teams from the state of Florida … two-time team captain.

PERSONAL: Full name is Chad Fitzgerald Holtz … born in Rockville, Connecticut … son of Skip and Jennifer Holtz … received Jesuit Leadership Award … has an older brother, Trey, and younger sister, Hailey… father Skip is a 1986 Notre Dame graduate and played on Fighting Irish football team as special teams member and backup flanker … brother Trey is a current member of Texas football team … grandfather Lou Holtz coached football at Notre Dame for 11 seasons (1986-96) where he led Irish teams to a 100-30-2 record, including a national championship in 1988 … uncle Kevin Holtz received both undergraduate (1989) and law (1992) degrees from Notre Dame, aunt Liz Holtz is a 1991 Notre Dame graduate and uncle Mike Massaglia earned his bachelor’s degree in 1990 and law degree in 1993.
