AS A SENIOR: Helped the Irish to a ninth-place finish at Head of the Rock in the varsity eight competition…at the Cal-Sag Regatta, her crew finished 16th in the varsity eight race, one of four Irish entrants … later in the competition she helped that same crew to a third place finish in the varsity eight final D fleet … two-year monogram winner.

AS A JUNIOR: Spent the first half of the season in the second varsity eight boat for the Irish … rowed in the second varsity eight boat at the Windemere Classic, securing a victory over Stanford (7:54.01), while falling to California (7:28.07) and UCLA (7:11.01) … sat in the second varsity eight boat for race with Michigan State, Michigan, and Clemson … won in the second varsity eight boat over Cincinnati and Alabama with a time of 6:49.85 … rode with the second varsity eight boat against Tennessee and Minnesota … rowed with the varsity eight ‘C’ boat at the Head of the Rock, placing 11th out of 24 boats.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Mainstay in the spring rowing in the varsity four and second varsity eight boats … finished first among five boats at Lubbers Cup as team finished in 8:02.47 … finished second in open eight Grand Final at San Diego Crew Classic … earned two second place finishes at Indiana Classic … switched to second varsity eight boat for BIG EAST Championships as that boat won the race with a time of 6:39.62 … member of second varsity crew that advanced to Petite Finals at NCAA Championships … also competed with second varsity eight boat at Central/South Championships and finished fifth in Grand Final with a time of 6:42.21 … began fall season competing in opening regatta against Michigan, Michigan State and Eastern Michigan … rowed in Notre Dame Joyce in which all boats were eights … finished eighth in first piece … improved to a seventh-place finish in the piece two race in a time of 9:44.00…finished the day with an 11th-place finish in the piece three race … at the Head of the Rock her open eight crew finished with a time of 15:57.58 to give them a third place finish … competed in the open eight at the Notre Dame Invitational and finished fourth … finished the fall with an impressive second-place finish at the Head of the Elk in the open eight-a, clocking in at 14:29.23.

AS A FRESHMAN: Earned her first monogram with the Irish…member of the varsity four for most of 2004-2005 … BIG EAST Academic All-Star … finished the year with the varsity four taking fifth place in the Central/South Region Sprints Grand Finals … a BIG EAST Champion with the varsity four (9:48.45) … finished second to Yale and defeated Harvard with the varsity four … defeated Cincinnati … earned a first place finish over Louisville and Indiana … helped the second varsity eight to victory against Indiana and Purdue … member of the novice eight crew that finished first (7:19.49) in the Collegiate Petite Final at the San Diego Crew Classic. In her first race with the Irish in the fall, captured third out of 39 boats in the open eight at the Head of the Rock by posting a time of 16:01.24 … sat three seat of the open four-c crew which placed seventh in a time of 17:50.9 at the Head of the Elk … also seventh in the open eight-a race at the Head of the Elk with a time of 16:28.1.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Participated in rowing at Hilton Head High School in Hilton Head, S.C., earning her three varsity letters … team was regional champions her junior season … a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honors Society, and Mu Alpha Beta … youngest of two children … parents are Jim and Donna Fairbanks … born May 23, 1986 in Livingston, N.J. … graduated from the College of Science with a degree in pre-professional studies and anthropology.
