AS A FRESHMAN: Opened up the spring season as a member of the second novice eight boat in a two-boat race against Michigan State, helping her crew finish in second place with a time of 8:46.90…rowed with the second novice eight boat against both Indiana and Purdue the following day, finishing in second place with a race time of 6:35.90…raced in a morning session race against Ohio State in Columbus, helping the crew earn the race victory with a final time of 7:11.12, beating the Buckeyes by nearly eight seconds (7:19.09)…helped same crew improve on morning time, finishing an afternoon session race against Minnesota seven seconds faster, completing the course in 7:04.00 and earning the boat[apos]s second race victory on the day…helped her novice four boat capture the gold medal at the BIG EAST Championships with a time of 8:02.648…at the South/Central Sprints, earned a fifth-place finish in the petite finals as a member of the novice eight boat (6:42.80)… the boat earned a spot in the finals by finishing the preliminary race in fourth (6:52.11) and sixth in the semifinal heat (6:43.50)…rowed as a member of the Notre Dame ‘F’ crew in the varsity eight race at Head of the Rock, crossing the finish line at the 22:09.30…had double duty at the Head of the Rock, rowing with the Notre Dame ‘C’ crew in the novice eight race, placing 14th with a time of 22:25.60…rowed in the Southland Regatta as a member of the Notre Dame ‘A’ boat in the novice eight race…crew crossed the line in a time of 20:47.16, earning a 16th place finish.
PREP AND PERSONAL: A two-sport athlete at Concord Academy, competing in both soccer and volleyball…participated and lettered all four years with the volleyball team, and was selected as team captain for her senior campaign…also participated in the Notre Dame Celebration Choir…born in Boston, Mass., on March 22, 1990…daughter of Christopher and Catherine Mary Cahill Anderson…father, Christopher, graduated from Notre Dame in 1980…has two younger siblings, Jack and Sarah…enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
