• Had first collegiate hit as a pinch hitter against Austin Peay

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Earned three varsity letters in baseball at Homewood-Flossmoor, as well as three in football
• Tabbed the No. 57 overall prospect in Illinois by Perfect Game, as well as the state’s seventh-ranked catcher
• Slotted as the nation’s No. 160 catcher by Perfect Game
• Named all-conference as a senior after hitting .360 with four home runs and 26 RBI
• Earned Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-America and Central Region Honorable Mention from Perfect Game in 2016
• Tabbed all-conference during junior campaign thanks to .375 batting average with 36 RBI and a pair of homers
• Played for the Chicago White Sox ACE (Amateur City Elite) and Cangelosi Black Sox
• Was an all-state quarterback for Homewood-Flossmoor, rated Illinois’ No. 2 quarterback in his class, guiding team to a No. 26 national ranking
