2022 Season (Graduate)

  • One of the team captains which led this Irish squad back into the national conversation.
  • Started all 23 games at the right-wing midfield position. Logged 1,476 minutes on the pitch.
  • Notched a career-best 3 assists on the year.
  • Connected on 18 shots, including 8 on frame.
  • Advanced the Irish in the ACC Tournament with the deciding penalty kick in the shootout against Pitt. It marked the second straight year in which Martinez was slotted in the final position and advanced the Irish on PKs.
  • Finished her career with 2 goals, 4 assists, thus 8 points.
  • Selected 17th overall in the 2023 NWSL Draft by Racing Louisville FC.

2021 Season (Senior)

  • Started in all 21 games played, logging over 1,439 minutes in the right-wing midfield position
  • Tallied her first two goals of her Irish career: one in the season-opening win over Bowling Green, then in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in the victory over SIUE
  • Registered her most shots on net in a season with seven
  • Averaged 77.3 minutes in ND’s three-game NCAA Tournament run

2020 Season (Junior)

  • Played in all 13 games and made 12 starts in her junior season.
  • Finished second on the team with 1033 minutes played.
  • Played 90 minutes or more in six of the 13 games.
  • Season high 97 minutes played came on the road against No. 18 Oklahoma State (4/11).

2019 Season (Sophomore)

  • Played in 17 games and made 16 starts in her sophomore campaign playing primarily in the midfield.
  • Tallied one assist throughout 1,285 minutes played during the season.
  • Recorded her first collegiate assist on Luisa Delgado’s first goal of the afternoon in the 4-0 win over Northwestern.
  • Played 90 plus minutes five times this season, including a career-high 110 minutes played in the 0-0 2OT tie against No. 16 Louisville.
  • Played with the U-20 USWNT in the CONCACAF Championship and clinched a berth in the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

2018 Season (Freshman)

  • Started 16 of 17 games during her first collegiate season
  • Was one of six freshmen to start in her first season with the Irish and one of two to start 10+ games (Brooke VanDyck)
  • Played all 90 minutes in seven games this season, including the 1-0 shutout win on the road against Wake Forest
  • Ranked #33 by TopDrawer Soccer in their Midseason Top-100 Freshman List
  • Following the season, Martinez was selected to the U-19 Women’s National Team for the 2018 Women’s Nike International Friendlies and the 2019 La Manga Tournament.

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Was a member of the United States Under-18 Women’s National Team and traveled to China, Australia and Europe for international competition with the team.
  • Played four seasons at Volcano Vista High School, where she averaged 2.8 points per game as a senior. Martinez recorded 92 points in her high school career.
  • Named to the Honor Roll and was ranked in the top 10 in her class at Volcano Vista.
