AS A SENIOR: Split time in both the varsity eight and varsity four boats during the spring season for the Irish … rowed in the third varsity eight – lightweight race against Buffalo … glided across the finish line in first place ahead of Buffalo at 6:28.9 … competed in two events in Indianapolis … her boat placed first in the sec- ond varsity eight race, stopping the clocks at 7:24.0 … also part of the second varsity four crew that day, coming in third place (7:48.9) behind a second Notre Dame boat and Indiana … won the BIG EAST Championship in the third varsity four race, stopping the clock at 8:03.62 … finished the Oak Ridge Regional Grand Final in sixth place (7:15.43) as part of the third varsity eight boat behind Virginia, Clemson, Oklahoma, Miami (FL) and Central Florida … helped capture ninth place in the varsity four race as a member of the Notre Dame ‘B’ boat (18:06.36) at the Head of the Rock … also finished 13th in the varsity eight race on the Notre Dame ‘C’ boat stopping the clock at 17:17.78 … took home fourth place in the varsity eight race vs. Tulsa, crossing the line in a time of 14:47.1 … earned a seventh-place finish in the varsity four Notre Dame ‘3’ boat (12:15.5).

AS A JUNIOR: Rowed with the second varsity four boat for the spring season … notched a pair of heat victories in the opening event against Buffalo, finishing the races with times of 6:25.2 and 6:10.0, respectively … returned to action two weeks later against Michigan State, finishing in second place after posting a time of 8:02.5 … the following day, finished second in a four-team race against Buffalo, Purdue and Indiana, cross- ing the line at 8:41.5 … at the BIG EAST Championships, captured grand final gold after stopping the clock in a time of 8:24.238 … competed with the open four ‘A’ boat at the Central/ South Sprints … earned a lane in the C Final at the event and went on to win the race after posting a time of 7:42.50 … rowed with the varsity eight ‘3’ boat at the Head of the Rock, recording a time of 16:33.53, good for an 11th-place finish … sat in the varsity four ‘A’ boat as it placed fourth in its flight on the St. Joseph River in South Bend against Indiana, Iowa and Michigan State with a time of 14:59.30 … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Took to the water for the first time on the season, after not competing during the fall schedule, against Michigan State as a member of the Notre Dame ‘B’ second varsity four boat … crossed the line in fourth place in the five boat heat with a final time of 9:01.83.

AS A FRESHMAN: Began the spring rowing for the novice eight boat where her team finished second at the Lubbers Cup with a time of 7:38.27 … helped the second novice eight boat defeat Michigan State twice … competed at the Indiana Invite where her second novice eight boat finished first ahead of Purdue ‘A’ and ‘B’ … member of the varsity eight boat at Head of the Rock that finished 23rd.

PREP AND PERSONAL: A member of the track, golf and swimming teams during her prep career at Aurora High … lettered in golf all four years there … also lettered in track during her sophomore, junior and senior years and earned a letter in swimming during her senior season … led her track and golf teams to Chagrin Valley conference championships in her junior season … competed in both the 50 and 100-meter freestyle events in swimming … born in Aurora, Ohio on October 14, 1989 … daughter of Randy Krafcik and Joi Christopher … oldest of four children … graduated from the College of Science with a degree in biological sciences.
