• Earned five varsity letters in baseball at Shoreham Wading River High School.
• Rated the No. 3 overall prospect in New York and the No. 2 Right handed pitcher by Perfect Game.
• Hit .409 with 26 home runs and 124 RBI in his career.
• Accumulated 213.0 innings pitched while totaling 295 strikeouts and 23 wins with a 1.15 career ERA.
• Broke a Long Island, New York, record of 6 career no-hitters.
• Named four-time All-State, two-time Newsday Long Island Player of the Year and was a two-time recipient of the prestigious Carl Yastrzemski Award.
• Was chosen as 2015 Underclass High Honorable Mention All-American, 2016 Underclass second-team All-American and 2017 Rawlings third-team All-American by Perfect Game. Also was named to the first-team Northeast All-Region Team.
• Drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 35th round of the 2017 MLB Draft.
• Born in Port Jefferson, New York to Brian and Toni Jo Morrell.
• Has two sisters, Alexandria and Taylor, and one brother, Michael.
• Attended Shoreham Wading River High School.
• Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business.
