AS A JUNIOR: Did not play in any games during 2006-07 … one of the team[apos]s hardest working players who was a key contributor in practice and in the locker room.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in five games during the 2005-06 campaign … recorded two shots on goal and picked up two penalties for four minutes … was -2 on the year … first game came at Denver on Oct. 22 … recorded shots versus Denver and at Northern Michigan (Jan. 20) … did not play in either playoff game against Alaska Fairbanks.AS A FRESHMAN: Saw action in 10 games for the Irish with no points … had one penalty for two minutes and had no shots on goal … first action came on Nov. 26 at Alaska Fairbanks … played in both CCHA playoff games at Michigan.

PREP & PERSONAL: Graduated from Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Ill. … played AAA hockey for six years, including two years of junior hockey – one year with the Cleveland Barons (NAHL) and one with the Tri-City Storm (USHL) … helped Storm to Anderson Cup title (regular season) and the Clark Cup finals where they lost to Waterloo and current Irish teammate, Garrett Regan … played in 32 games with the Storm with a goal and two assists for three points and had 36 minutes in penalties … in one season at Cleveland, had four goals and 14 assists for 18 points and 55 penalty minutes in 48 games … lettered three seasons in golf at Fenwick High School … played on four state AAA championship teams and one national championship team (Glenview Stars `98) … participated in USA Hockey Select 17 Festival representing the Midwest … team won silver medal in July 2001 … full name is Brian Edward D[apos]Arcy … son of Ed and Linda D[apos]Arcy … has one sister … comes from a Notre Dame family … great grandfather, John, is a 1922 graduate, grandfather, Edward, Sr., is a 1952 graduate and father, Edward, Jr., is a 1976 graduate … mother, Linda, is a 1976 graduate of St. Mary[apos]s … born on June 29, 1984, in Hinsdale, Ill. … working on a double major in economics and history in the College of Arts and Letters.
