AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): Swam in six different meets in first year with the Irish … began inaugural season at Dennis Stark Relays, winning the 200 medley relay (26.58 split) and claiming third in 300 breast (59.37 split), exhibitioning with 200 free relay (21.32 split) … at Purdue Invitational, swam in four different events … clocked in at 22.06 in 50 free and split 57.33 with 400 medley relay that came in 16th … swam to 26th in 200 breast (2:08.47 finals, 2:16.23 prelims) and 27th in 100 breast (57.86 finals, 1:01.15 prelims) … at Virginia, won 200 fly race with 1:47.39 time and finished fourth with 200 free relay (22.17 leadoff split) and sixth in 200 medley relay (27.48 split), earning eighth place in 100 breast (1:01.07) and exhibitioning in 200 breast (2:16.44) … versus Northwestern, finished fifth on 200 medley relay (27.30 split) and sixth in 100 breast (1:00.99) … clocked in at 2:14.81 in 200 breast and 2:02.32 in 200 IM … in Shamrock Invitational, touched the wall in 2:02.73 in 200 IM, 59.92 in 100 breast and 2:13.83 in 200 breast … finished the year at Michigan First Chance meet, taking second in the 100 breast (55.57) and 200 breast (2:01.75) and fifth in the 200 IM (1:51.08), time-trialing in the 200 free to a time of 1:40.72.

PREP & PERSONAL: NCSA Junior National Champion in 50 LCM breast (29.59) … won the Coaches Award with club team from 2012 through 2014 … awarded the club’s Bronze Medal award in 2014 … club team won Tri-City Cup Championship three consecutive years … individually has won 200 free, 100 breast and 200 IM at Tri-Cup meet … breaststroke specialist that will add depth to the Irish roster … swam with both prep team at Bishop Ireton and club team Arlington Aquatics … graduated from Bishop Ireton in June 2015 … middle child of Joseph and Corinne Gorski … has two older brothers and one younger sister … Is an avid hunter and fisher … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business.
