AS A SENIOR: Helped the varsity eight “A” boat finish first at the Lubbers Cup with a time of 6:55.40 … rowed with the third varsity four boat beating Michigan State … participated on the crew at Head of the Rock which finished in eighth place in a time of 16:15.53…at the Cal-Sag Regatta rowed as a member of the 18th place crew and at the varsity eight final E helped her team to a third-place finish … earned first monogram with program … named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team.
AS A JUNIOR: Spent majority of season with the Irish[apos]s second varsity four boat … finished fourth in the Petite Final of open four boat competition at the Central/South Region Championship … took second at BIG EAST Championships with a time of 7:41.64 … placed third in second varsity four race with Virginia ‘A’, Virginia ‘B’ and Princeton … rowed in varsity eight boat for a second-place finish at the Lubbers Cup (8:07.56) before posing a win with the second varsity four boat (9:11.05) … member of second varsity four crew that finished third in four boat race with Michigan State (‘A’ and ‘B’) and Michigan … placed second in varsity four boat competition against Cincinnati, posing a time of 8:01.02 with Notre Dame[apos]s ‘B’ boat … rowed with the second varsity four boat against Tennessee and Minnesota.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Rowed in the second varsity four boat in first regatta of the spring against Tennessee and Minnesota … took first at Lubbers Cup sitting in the third varsity four ‘A’ boat that finished with a time of 8:05.54 … also competed at the Lubbers Cup with second varsity four … part of Notre Dame[apos]s ‘B’ boat that finished sixth in Grand Finals of open four at Central/South Region Championships … sat in the eight seat in the piece one competition in the season opener and finished in eighth place … improved to a seventh-place finish in the piece two race coming in with a time of 9:44.00 … placed 11th in the piece three race in a time of 10:33.00 at the regatta … finished 10th in the open eight race in a time of 17:11.20 at the Head of the Rock … raced in the varsity four at the Notre Dame Invitational and placed fifth…collected a fourth-place finish in the open four-b at the Head of the Elk.
AS A FRESHMAN: Second novice eight member in 2004-2005 … defeated Cincinnati … took first place versus Purdue and Indiana.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Played basketball and rugby and ran cross country, earning seven letters during her career at Denver East High School … helped team to an undefeated season and a conference championship as a freshman … named MVP her senior year in rugby … placed fourth in state and named best team in the conference the team[apos]s first year in existence … participated in the rugby all-star game as a senior…a member of the National Honor Society, International Thespians Society and the Society of Women in Engineers while in high school … daughter of Richard and Linda Teves … father attended Notre Dame … born July 8, 1986 in Denver, Colo. … graduated with a degree in aerospace engineering from the College of Engineering.
