NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Atlantic Coast Conference today announced Anna Rohrer has been named ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week for the second time this season.

Rohrer, a sophomore out of Mishawaka, Indiana, finished in third place (20:03.4) at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational 6K (Madison Wisconsin) on Friday. She led her team to a ninth-place finish in a pool of 18 nationally-ranked teams.

“We are proud of how Anna has competed so far this year, but we also know there’s a lot of work to be done in the next month,” associate head coach Matt Sparks said. “Her focus is on continuing to train well and being prepared for the national meet.”

Rohrer received ACC weekly honors on October 4 after recording first place (16:11.7) in the annual Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational 5K on September 30. She has competed in just two meets this season.

Notre Dame returns to action on Friday, October 28 at Wakemed Soccer Park (Cary, North Carolina).
