Road Games At Seton Hall And Villanova Added To Irish National Television Slate This Season

Notre Dame, Ind. – Notre Dame’s national television coverage increased by two games during the 2004-05 men’s basketball campaign. Irish road contests at Seton Hall on January 5 and at Villanova on January 26 will now be televised by ESPN2.

Both games, originally announced as 7:30 p.m. (EST) starts, will tip-off at 8:00 p.m. (EST). The addition of these two contests brings Notre Dame’s total of national television broadcasts to 13 this season.

Other ESPN2 broadcast include home games against DePaul (December 11 at 5:00 p.m.) and Boston College (February 8 at 7:00 p.m.). ESPN will televise Irish road contests at Michigan (December 4 at noon), Indiana (December 8 at 7:00 p.m.), Syracuse (February 5 at 9:00 p.m.), Pittsburgh (February 12 at noon) and Connecticut (February 21 at 7:00 p.m.) and a home game versus Syracuse (January 10 at 7:00 p.m.).

CBS will televise three games from the Joyce Center this season — Connecticut (January 30 at 3:45 p.m.), UCLA (February 27 at 2:00 p.m.) and Pittsburgh (March 5 at 2:00 p.m.)
