NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Player registration is now being accepted for the 2014 Notre Dame Softball Summer Camp Program. The Irish will host a pair of camp sessions, a day camp from June 16-18, and an overnight camp from July 14-16, at Melissa Cook Stadium.

The Irish softball day camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon (ET) each day on June 16-18. Day camp sessions are designed for beginning and intermediate skill level players between the ages of five and 11. Players will be organized based on their level of play, and all areas of the game of softball will be covered.

The cost of the day camp is $180 per player, and includes a sack pack and camp T-shirt. Check-in will take place between 8:15 and 9 a.m. (ET) on June 16 at Melissa Cook Stadium.

Notre Dame softball’s overnight camp sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. (ET) on July 14-15, and from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 16. Overnight camp sessions are designed for players with intermediate and advanced level skills, between the ages of 12 and 18. Players will be separated according to level of play, and individual sessions for pitchers will take place each day.

The cost of the overnight camp is $450 per player for non-boarders (which includes two meals per day, insurance and a camp T-shirt), and $525 per player for boarders (which includes all meals, lodging, insurance and a camp T-shirt). Camp check-in will take place from 8:30-9:30 a.m. (ET) on July 14 at Melissa Cook Stadium. Guardians will meet all departing campers at their respective dorm rooms, which are assigned at check-in, at 4 p.m. on July 16.
