Record 17 Irish Land on ACC All-Academic Team

Must have competed in 50% of games and boast at least a 3.0 GPA

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) announced its 2022 women’s soccer All-ACC Academic Team on Wednesday. This year, and moving forward the league requirements have changed on All-Academic Team selection. Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.

All 14 ACC women’s soccer programs are represented on the All-ACC Academic Team. Virginia led the way with 19 honorees, while North Carolina closely followed at 18. Louisville and Notre Dame finished with 17 honorees apiece.
