SOUTH BEND, Indiana — The Notre Dame baseball team’s exhibition contest with the South Bend Cubs has been cancelleddue inclement weather in the South Bend area. The teams were slated to meet at downtown South Bend’s Four Winds Field.

Instead, Mik Aoki’s team turns its attention to a three-game series with Georgia Tech at Frank Eck Stadium this weekend. First pitch on Friday is set for 6:05 p.m., followed by a 4:05 game on Saturday and a 12:05 start on Sunday.

Friday is Golf Appreciation Day, with prizes courtesy of the Warren Golf Course. It is also Kids Free Friday, as all kids get in for free. Saturday is Dads & Daughters Day, as all fathers and daughters will be admitted free. On Sunday, kids can run the bases postgame.

All three games can be seen live on ACC Network Extra, via WatchESPN, and heard on WatchND and 103.1 FM in South Bend.
