NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Former University of Notre Dame football all-stars Raghib “Rocket” Ismail and Tony Rice will sign autographs from noon-1 p.m. Saturday in the Joyce Center Fieldhouse.
The autograph session, sponsored by Sprint and arranged by Notre Dame Sports Properties, is part of the Notre Dame Experience. Attendees are limited to one autograph item per person. Sprint also will have an on-site display to distribute premiums and interact with fans.
Then, from 1-2 p.m. at that same location, Ismail and Rice will take part in a Sprint Phone-a-Friend promotion that provides unique opportunities for the players to make brief phone calls to a fan’s friend or family member. Fans also can have their pictures taken with Ismail or Rice and receive a signed photo via text.
Steiner Sports will have an on-site display of memorabilia available for purchase.
Ismail was the 1990 Heisman Trophy runner-up and a two-time first-team All-American, while Rice was the starting quarterback on Notre Dame’s 1988 national championship squad and finished fourth in the 1989 Heisman voting.
