In the second episode of Unforgotten, Tony chats with Notre Dame softball players, Alexis Holloway and Abby Sweet.
After beginning the season 13-9, Notre Dame was ranked in the top 25 in the RPI and had a pair of ranked wins on their resume. They were about a week away from returning to South Bend to play their first home game of the season before it was cut short.
Abby and Alexis detail how they found out their season was cancelled and how their team managed to process the news. Later in the show, they discuss how they’ve tried to adjust to being back at home and attending school remotely.
Towards the end, they group discusses the softball team’s motto of “One More” and how it has helped them during this time.
