Senior OT Jim Molinaro

On the game …
“It’s nice to look up at the scoreboard going into the fourth quarter and see that we are up by a good amount, not to be in a mayday situation.”

On his last game at Notre Dame Stadium…
“You kind of get to look back and stare at the Stadium for the last time. It’s kind of emotional, but the season is not over yet. Emotions were running high at the beginning of the game, but we knew what we had to do, go out there and win.”

On the play of the offensive line…
“The offensive line really matured throughout the season; we had our tough times, but we have really come together as a unit.”

Sophomore C Bob Morton

On the offensive line…
“I think anytime you put five guys, in our case nine, into the heat of battle, over a ten or eleven week span, you grow closer. On the field and off the field, you really develop a trust among each other. It’s a really good situation.”

On the outcome of the game…
“There is still that feeling it could have been a little further apart. We didn’t dominate as well as we could have, but it was a nice feeling to have it in the bag at the end.”

Senior OLB Derek Curry

On the outcome of the game…
“Our coaches put us in great positions to make plays. We knew pretty much everything they were going to do. It was our job to go out and execute. I have to give a lot of credit to our fifth-year seniors, they held us together when the plays got tough.”

Senior RB Julius Jones

On his last home game… “It was pretty emotional for me personally. You have been with some of these guys for four years, and you hate to leave them, but hopefully there are better things ahead for us. The best thing about today is that we got a win.”

On the upcoming bye week…
“We are going to try to get healthy and just take the next step. We have been playing pretty well, and we have to continue to play well.”
