NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame baseball program will host four separate camp sessions in the summer of 2004, for children ranging from eight-years-old to seniors in high school. Each session will cover multiple aspects of the game of baseball, including pitching, hitting, catching, fielding and baserunning.
The camp will be facilitated by Mainieri and the other members of the 2004 Irish coaching staff – David Grewe , Terry Rooney, and John Gumpf – as well as a variety of other high school and college coaches, who will be on hand to provide quality baseball instruction.
Each session will consist of daily work on basic fundamentals, as well as game competition. All campers will receive a Notre Dame baseball t-shirt and a certificate of participation.
