MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Junior Sheeva Parbhu and senior Stephen Bass each moved into the quarterfinals of the singles draw, while Parbhu and senior Ryan Keckley advanced into the semifinals of the doubles draw in the 2006 ITA Midwest Championships on Sunday.

Parbhu and Bass each swept their two foes on Sunday. Parbhu beat Brady Crosby of Western Michigan, 6-3, 6-2, and Andres Osario of Minnesota, 6-4, 6-4. Bass knocked off Scott Bruckmann of Michigan, 7-6, 6-3, and Tim Bradshaw of Western Michigan, 6-4, 6-4.

Keckley and Parbhu cruised past a pair of seeded teams. The Irish duo routed Maravic and Navas from Michigan, 8-1. Keckley and Parbhu then upended the sixth-seeded team of Davis and Jones from Illinois, 8-2.

Adam Monich and Nick Rinks of Michigan State eliminated sophomore Brett Helgeson and senior Barry King, 8-3.
