The Notre Dame baseball program held its annual Opening Night Dinner on Monday, Feb. 12, in the Joyce Center Fieldhouse (free archived video and photo gallery linked below). Another capacity crowd was on hand and was treated to memorable comments from Irish head coach Dave Schrage, former Notre Dame standout and two-time World Series champion Craig Counsell, and current Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland. An overview of the dinner, including excepted comments, also will be posted later this week on und.com.
