2018 Blue-Gold Game Final Stats

NOTRE DAME, Indiana – Brandon Wimbush went 19-for-33 for 341 yards and two touchdowns and Drue Tranquill led the team with nine tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss as the Irish offense prevailed 47-44 over the defense in the 89th annual Blue-Gold Game at Notre Dame Stadium (31,729).

Ian Book (Blue) connected with Chase Claypool on an 85-yard touchdown to open the scoring for the offense (10:45 of the first quarter). The Gold team collected three sacks in the first quarter — from Adetokunbo Ogundeji, Drue Tranquill andMyron Tagovailoa-Amosa. Jalen Elliott (Gold) snagged an interception and returned it 21 yards at the 10:55 mark of the second.
