NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame baseball team concludes its six-game homestand with a two-game midweek series versus Kent State (11-8) at Frank Eck Stadium.
The Irish (10-12) will turn to senior right-hander Charlie Vorsheck, who is returning from injury in his first start since the 2017 season. Notre Dame southpaw Cameron Brown will get the nod on Wednesday.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series, 9-7, including owning a 7-3 mark at Frank Eck Stadium.
The Irish have won the last three games versus the Golden Flashes. Most recently, Notre Dame defeated Kent State, 8-1, in Gary, Indiana.

- Matt Vierling is in control of a nine-game hitting streak, batting .333 (12-36) with 11 RBI over that span.
- Notre Dame is 2-2 at Frank Eck Stadium and 6-7 against non-conference opponents in 2018.
