FARRELL KNOWN FOR SECOND HALF SURGES

Following a pattern from the 2016-17 season, senior guard Matt Farrell has stepped his game up in the second half of both Notre Dame victories this season.

Farrell has scored 22 of his 28 points this season in the second half, while shooting 8-of-12 from the floor, 5-of-6 from three-point range and dishing out five assists.

While recording his 24th career double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds during Notre Dame’s season-opening 72-58 win at DePaul, Colson reached the 700-rebound milestone in his career at Notre Dame. WINNINGEST CLASS AT NOTRE DAME?

The 2016-17 senior class of Steve Vasturia, V.J. Beachem and graduate student Patrick Mazza matched the school record for wins over a four-year stretch last season, joining the 2012-13 group of Joey Brooks, Mike Broghammer, Jack Cooley and Scott Martin with 97 wins.
