NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team will travel to Manchester, Mass., this weekend for its last match of the regular season. The Irish look to improve to 18-8 on the season as they take on Boston College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
“It will be a lot of fun competing against a traditional rival in all sports,” says head coach Ryan Sachire. “Boston College has a great program, and we are anticipating a very close match.”
Boston College is 6-14 on the season and 4-4 at home. Notre Dame is coming off a three-match winning streak after last weekend’s victories over Miami, Florida State and Valparaiso. The Irish are also 3-0 against Boston College in the all-time series.
Following this weekend, the Irish will travel to Cary, N.C., for their first-ever ACC Championship. The first round matches begin on Thursday, April 2 and the quarterfinals begin the following day.
