Notre Dame To Offer Four Different Baseball Summer Camps

Feb. 19, 2013

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame head baseball coach Mik Aoki has announced the dates for the 2013 Irish Baseball Summer Camps. Notre Dame will host a pair of day camps, a developmental camp and prospect came.

The day camp ($250) will feature two separate sessions. The first spans June 17-20, while the second runs June 24-27. They are each open to any and all entrants who, by June of 2013, will be 6-11 years of age. The camps begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. daily and will consist of fundamental instruction from the Irish players and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for the young athlete to fine tune his skills in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

Development camp ($500, which includes all practice sessions, meals, evenings in the dorms and camp issued shorts/t-shirt) takes place July 8-10 and is open to any and all entrants who, by July of 2013, will be 12-14 years of age. This camp consists of three practice sessions per day; facilitated by the Notre Dame coaching staff, as well as several other outstanding coaches from the high school and college ranks. Players will have the option of boarding on campus during the week or commuting each day. This camp is ideal for players looking for advanced technical instruction, both offensively and defensively.

Prospect Camp ($500, which includes all practice sessions, meals, evenings in the dorms and camp issued shorts/t-shirt) runs July 22-24 and is open to any and all entrants who, by July of 2013, will be 15-18 years of age. This session is geared and tailored for the high school player looking to compete at the highest level and possibly move on to play collegiately. Prospect Camp draws top-level talent from across the country and provides an opportunity to compete with and against an impressive pool of players ages 15-18. All camp sessions will be structured and delivered by the Notre Dame staff, as well as other top high school and college coaches. Campers will have the option to stay on campus during the week or commute each day.

All four camps take place within the beautiful confines of Frank Eck Baseball Stadium.
