NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The 2012 National Soccer Coaching Seminar will be held March 16-17 on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Several distinguished clinicians will be on hand, including Notre Dame men’s head coach Bobby Clark and Fighting Irish women’s head coach Randy Waldrum.

DISTINGUISHED CLINICIANS
The National Soccer Coaching Seminar would like to announce that Brian Bliss will be this year’s featured clinician. Bliss is currently the technical director of the Columbus Crew and was recently named to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team coaching staff.
The former player earned 44 caps with the full U. S. Men’s National team during which he was a member of the historic 1990 World Cup team and 1995 Copa America Squad. He also represented his country at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. Bliss played in the Bundesliga from 1990-1996 before joining the MLS and playing with the Columbus Crew, NY/NJ MetroStars and Kansas City Wizards.
He previously served as an assistant coach for the Kansas City Wizards from 2000- 2006 and as interim head coach in 2006. He began his coaching career in 1999, after retiring as a player, as head coach of the Connecticut Wolves of the A-League.
Bliss holds a U.S. Soccer Federation `A’ Coaching License. His most recent coaching experience has come with Crew youth teams, having coached the Crew Juniors U- 20s to back-to-back USL Super-20 National Championships (2010-2011) and the U- 19s to a USYS National Championship in 2010.
