NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame track and field squads are set to host the 22nd annual Meyo Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Loftus Sports Center.

The Meyo Invitational continues to be one of the premiere collegiate track and field meets in the nation. Featured in the meet will be the Meyo Mile and the Ryan Shay 3000-meter run, in honor of former Notre Dame standout, Ryan Shay.

The long jump will get things started at 5 p.m. Friday. The women’s 5000 meters will start the running events at 6 p.m.

The women’s 3000-meter run kicks off Saturday’s events at 9 a.m.

The Irish have had several successful meets this season, as multiple student-athletes have set BIG EAST and NCAA qualifying marks.

Mary Saxer hit an NCAA-provisional qualifying standard in the pole vault, while Anna Weber set her own NCAA qualifying mark in the weight throw.
