NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame men’s basketball team will be part of ESPN’s BIG Monday schedule when the Irish play host to Syracuse on Monday, Jan. 18 at 7:00 p.m.(ET). Nine different conference teams will be featured on this year’s Big Monday schedule.
This will be Syracuse’s fist visit to Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center since Feb. 24, 2008 when the Irish defeated the Orange 94-87. The two teams met only once during the 2008-08 season with Syracuse prevailing 93-74 at the Carrier Dome.
The Big Monday slate tips off with Pittsburgh at Cincinnati on Jan. 4. The rest of the Conference’s Big Monday slate includes: Villanova at Louisville (Jan. 11), Georgetown at Syracuse (Jan. 25), Connecticut at Louisville (Feb. 1), Villanova at West Virginia (Feb. 8), Connecticut at Villanova (Feb. 15), West Virginia at Connecticut (Feb. 22) and Georgetown at West Virginia (March 1).
