NOTRE DAME, Ind. – An 18th national broadcast has been added to the Irish men’s basketball television slate in 2010-11 as the Irish’s Sunday, Dec. 19 matchup against Stony Brook will be shown on ESPNU. As a result of the contest being shown on ESPNU, the start time of the game has been moved to 4:30 p.m. (ET) and changes from the original tip time of 2:00 p.m. (ET) that was announced last month.
Notre Dame, coming off of a 23-12 campaign in 2009-10, could make as many as 17 appearances during the upcoming season on ESPN’s family of networks. The Irish will make one appearance on CBS Sports when they travel to Morgantown, W. Va., for a 1:00 p.m. contest against the Mountaineers of West Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 19.
