Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame rowing team is ranked 14th in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Division I Varsity Coaches Poll for the third consecutive week.
California topped the poll for the second straight week, garnering 11 first-place votes. Princeton, which earned eight first-place votes, is second, followed by Michigan (one first-place vote), Harvard, Ohio State, Yale, Virginia, Brown, Washington and Wisconsin.
The second half of the poll begins with Michigan State, followed by Washington State, Tennessee, NOTRE DAME, Southern California, Boston University, Massachusetts, Texas, Northeastern and Duke.
Notre Dame, which won the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge on April 25, will be in action at the Central Region Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn., May 15-16.
