Notre Dame Ranks 20th In ITA Tennis Rankings

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team is ranked No. 20 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association spring preseason poll released today. The Irish finished last season ranked 19th with an 18-10 record.

The Irish are coming off a successful fall campaign, which saw the doubles pairing of junior Quinn Gleason and sophomore Monica Robinson reach the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. Gleason and Robinson rank 16th in the doubles poll.

The Irish are the sixth-highest ranked Atlantic Coast Conference squad, behind No. 2 Duke, No. 4 North Carolina, No. 6 Virginia, No. 13 Clemson and No. 18 Georgia Tech.
