PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Notre Dame men’s soccer match at Providence originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 18 has been pushed back one day to Wednesday, Oct. 19. The match will begin at 3:00 p.m. (ET), which was the original start time for Tuesday’s contest. Providence was slated to host Marquette on Saturday, Oct. 15, yet with the heavy rains in the Northeast, the Friars’ Glay Field has been deemed un-playable. Providence will now play the Golden Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 16, thus prompting the change in the game versus the Fighting Irish.
