Junior Forward Jacqueline Batteast
On how she has changed through the season…
“I am a lot more confident this year, and I am using a lot of my strengths. I am shooting better, relying more on my teammates and they have done a great job, so that takes a lot of pressure off of me. I just feel more comfortable out there.”

On her role as a leader on the team…
“I’m not really one to talk a lot, so I lead more by example. I try to do that at practice, and our seniors will call team meetings to provide more vocal leadership.”

Sophomore Guard Megan Duffy
On playing against SMS’s 2-3 zone
“We are going to have to be aggressive, and that has been our strategy all year. We want to attack in the paint, no matter who we are playing. Whatever defense they are in, we are going to try and attack it.”

On SMS’s three-point shooters…
“We just have to respect their shooters, everyone on that team can shoot the ball. We have to get on every player, and we are going to try and do that tomorrow.”
