Notre Dame-Northern Michigan Game On Dec. 12 To Be Broadcast On Comcast South Bend

The 11th-ranked Notre Dame hockey team plays host to the Northern Michigan Wildcats at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12 at the Joyce Center. That game will be telecast live by Comcsast Television in Michigan with Matt Shepard and Lyle Phair calling the action.

Notre Dame hockey fans will be able to see the game in the South Bend area on South Bend Comcast channel 3 beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Sunday’s game features the Irish Teddy Bear Toss to benefit Toys for Tots. When the Irish score their first goal in Sunday’s contest, fans in attendance who bring Teddy Bears to the game will be able to throw them on the ice to be collected.

The two teams meet on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. at the Joyce Center. That game can be viewed via webcast on line, free of charge at und.com.

Notre Dame goes into the weekend with a 10-5-2 overall record and is in second place in the CCHA with an 8-3-1-1 mark, good for 26 points, one behind first-place Miami. Northern Michigan is tied for fourth in the conference with a 6-4-2-0 league record and the Wildcats are 7-7-3 overall. A limited number of tickets remain for both games.
