Notre Dame Men's Soccer Announces Summer Camp Dates

Feb. 28, 2012

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame men’s soccer head coach Bobby Clark has announced the dates for the program’s 2012 summer camps. A variety of camps will take place during the month of July with the ‘”Elite” camp being the pinnacle of the Irish experience.

The “Elite” camp has become the proving ground for future college soccer student-athletes. Notre Dame’s 2012 roster will feature 24 former campers and four of the seven Fighting Irish players drafted into Major League Soccer (MLS) over the past two years were former “Elite” campers. The Notre Dame “Elite” camp is designed to provide the top rising sophomore, junior and senior players with exceptional training as they prepare for college soccer.

Notre Dame coaches and players will be at each “Elite” camp session along with head coaches and assistant coaches from across the collegiate ranks. This allows players to be seen by 10 or more colleges. Many former campers have gone on to play in other top programs across the country. “Elite” campers will be exposed to the next level of soccer and will be given the chance to compete in one of the most competitive camp atmospheres in the country.
