NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The men’s tennis match between #49 Notre Dame and #10 Kentucky, originally scheduled for Tuesday in the Eck Tennis Pavilion has been postponed due to unforeseen travel complications encountered by the Wildcats. Notre Dame (3-1) will return to action on Saturday, traveling to #8 Duke for a Noon (EST) contest.
The match between the Irish and Kentucky will probably be rescheduled for some time in the month of April, though an exact date for it has not yet been announced. The teams have met in each of the last 11 seasons, and the Irish hold a 12-10-1 advantage in the all-time series.
The 2004 Irish schedule is still subject to further changes, but any adjustments will be announced on Notre Dame’s official athletic website, www.und.com, which also features the most up-to-date schedules of all Irish teams.
