Notre Dame Football Fantasy Camp

Feb. 21, 2014

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Interested in going back to college for a couple days? And, waking up the echoes at the same time?

Then, the 2014 Notre Dame Football Fantasy Camp is for you. The camp not only enables individuals to live out their childhood Irish football fantasies as adults, but also completely immerses the campers back in the collegiate atmosphere.

The Notre Dame Football Fantasy Camp will be directed by Irish head coach Brian Kelly, as well as his entire Notre Dame coaching staff, current Irish players and plenty of other former Notre Dame legends. They will provide daily hands-on instruction and interaction. They will also share priceless personal experiences from their time under the Golden Dome and in the NFL.

Camp dates are Tuesday, June 3, through Saturday, June 7, 2014 (five days, four nights). Participants will stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott located across the street from campus and adjacent to the Eddy Street Commons, and mere steps from the shadow of Notre Dame Stadium.

The Notre Dame Football Fantasy Camp will allow participants to develop a personal and active association with all of the Irish football facilities – including Notre Dame Stadium, Guglielmino Athletics Complex, Isban Auditorium, Haggar Varsity Fitness Center, Morse Recruiting Lounge, LaBar Practice Complex, Monogram Room, Naimoli Family Club Room in Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center, Schivarelli Alumni Players’ Lounge and many other notable facilities around the historic campus.

On the eve of the Blue-Gold Fantasy Football Game, campers will follow the same schedule of events as current Notre Dame football players, including travel to the Irish team hotel, pre-game meetings, meals, mass and even the walk. They will dress in the Irish locker room and following a pre-game speech; will slap the “Play Like A Champion” sign and sprint out of the tunnel and onto the Notre Dame Stadium field.

All camp participants will be provided with practice and game apparel, as well as other Notre Dame memorabilia and gifts including a team photo and a keepsake DVD from the Blue-Gold Fantasy Football Game. Campers will also have the option to purchase player jerseys and helmets.

Cost for this year’s camp is $4,995. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Notre Dame Monogram Club. Founded in 1916, the Notre Dame Monogram Club is comprised of individuals who have earned the University’s varsity athletic insignia for their athletic or team support endeavors or who have received an honorary monogram. Over 4,000 dues-paying members remain connected to Notre Dame through the common bond of sport. They continue to uphold the club’s mission of promoting spirit, unity, leadership and sportsmanship. In recent years, the Monogram Club has expanded its repertoire of projects, 40 programs and events to engage both former and current student-athletes in service, scholarship, support, recognition and fellowship and to maintain the rich tradition and legacy of Notre Dame athletics.
