HOUSTON, Texas – The No. 1 University of Notre Dame women’s basketball team defeated Louisiana-Lafayette, 91-51, at Tudor Fieldhouse on Tuesday.
A power outage delayed Notre Dame’s game with the Irish leading, 38-17, at the 2:38 mark in the second quarter at the M.O. Campbell Center. The game was relocated to Tudor Fieldhouse at Rice University and was resumed roughly 2:35 later.
Sophomore Marina Mabrey scored a career-high 27 points and was 4-7 from three-point range. Junior Brianna Turner added 16 points and 12 rebounds, good for her second double-double of the season.
