GREENSBORO, N.C. – Day two of the 2010 NCAA East Regional Championships at the Irwin R. Belk Stadium on the campus of North Carolina A&T continued Friday for the Notre Dame track and field team as the Irish fared well in four events. Three top-20 finishes were shelved by the Irish including a 13th-place performance by Joanna Schultz in the 400m hurdles. Denes Veres led the way for the Irish by finishing 11th in the men’s shot put.
The action continues Saturday with live results available at NCAA.com. Complete results and recap will be available at UND.com after the final event.

The top 48 athletes from the region in their respective event were selected to participate in the first round with 12 advancing to the final site. There is no team score this year as the meet will only be used to qualify those specific athletes for the NCAA Championships.
