College Sports Television (Direct TV, channel 610) has reached an agreement with the NCAA to provide live telecasts of all games played at the upcoming NCAA Regional at California State Fullerton, including any games involving Notre Dame (the third seed of the four-team CSF Regional) – with South Bend-based WHME-TV 46 also having secured approval to telecast the first two CSTV broadcasts involving Notre Dame (Friday at 3:00 PDT/5:00 in South Bend; and Saturday at either 12:30 PDT/2:30 in South Bend, or 4:00 PDT/6:00 in South Bend).

Barry Tompkins and Randy Rosenbloom will share the CSTV play-by-play duties while Gerry Kindall will provide analysis.

CSTV’s game telecasts begin Friday at 3:00 p.m. PDT when Arizona takes on Notre Dame, followed by the Fullerton vs. San Diego game. Double-elimination play will continue throughout the weekend (ND’s next game will be Saturday at 12:30 or 4:00 PDT), with the regional champion being crowned Sunday and advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals (June 6-9). The eight Super Regional champions travel to Omaha, Neb., for the College World Series (June 13-23).

CSTV’s game telecasts will be complemented by a regional studio show, CSTV Primetime, originating from the network’s new studios at Chelsea Piers in New York City. CSTV Primetime will provide game updates, analysis, highlights, recaps and breakdowns from all 16 regional sites as CSTV covers the “best of the best” of college baseball en route to the College World Series.

CSTV is available on DirecTV channel 610 (for SportsPack subscribers). See www.cstv.com for more information on CSTV.
