NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Notre Dame head baseball coach Dave Schrage has announced the dates for the 2009 Notre Dame Fall Baseball Camps, with session I to be held at Eck Stadium (and its adjoining indoor facility) on Aug. 29-30 while session II will run from Sept. 12-13. The Irish will also have a pair of hitting clinics on September 27.

Notre Dame will host two separate fall sessions for young student-athletes who are sophomores, juniors or seniors in high school. Each session will cover multiple aspects of the game of baseball, including pitching, hitting, catching and fielding.

Schrage and the members of his Notre Dame coaching staff – Scott Lawler and Graham Sikes – will be joined by a variety of other high school and college coaches to provide quality baseball instruction. All campers will receive a Notre Dame baseball t-shirt to wear during the camp.

During the 2009 season, the Notre Dame baseball team featured nine players who attended the annual All-Star Camp.

Additionally, Sikes will be running a pair of Notre Dame Hitting Clinics. These clinics will take place on Sunday, Sept. 27. The youth clinic, ages 8-13, will run from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., while the high school clinic will run from 12:30-5:00 p.m.
