“Marquette has a couple of very good players and one of their top players was out due to cards the last time we played them. There won’t be any chance that we’ll underestimate them. Any team that can go to St. John’s and pull off a 3-1 win is certainly someone that needs to be respected. They’ve certainly earned that respect with that result. We know it’ll be a completely different game than the last time we played them. At the end of the day, it’s in our hands. I think how we play will determine the outcome.”

“You have to take the postseason one game at a time. We certainly won’t look beyond Marquette. The big thing with the BIG EAST tournament is that it gets you ready for tournament play. There’s a finality of losing a game when it comes to this stage of the season. This gives you a dry run in a sense before the NCAA tournament.”
