NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Irish have earned a 21st-place ranking in the Intercollegiate Tennis Assoication (ITA) preseason rankings, putting them two places ahead of where they finished at the end of the spring in 2013.
Individually, sophomore Quinn Gleason will open the season ranked 67th in singles and Notre Dame also has two doubles teams in the rankings as well. Freshman Monica Robinson and senior Jennifer Kellner are at No. 26 while senior Britney Sanders and Gleason are just behind them at No. 30.
Notre Dame kicks off the spring season on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Western Michigan (12 p.m.) and IUPUI (5 p.m.) in the Eck Tennis Pavilion.
